The generator adopts a base structure made of aluminum radiator by welding, which is made of high-quality medium-thick steel plate and boiler steel plate by cold welding. The welded end caps at both ends support the tilting block bearing insulated to the ground. Stepped gaskets are arranged between the base foot and the bottom plate (platen) so that the load of the base is concentrated on both ends of the foundation, symmetrically distributed on both sides, and quickly attenuates to the middle. The stress distribution of the generator foot is tested on site for review and adjustment to ensure the load distribution at both ends of the stator base, so as to improve the supporting rigidity of the end cover bearing connected with the stator base to reduce the vibration of the unit. The iron core is composed of high-strength spring steel plates.

When the generator is running, the magnetic pull between the rotor and the stator core generates frequency-doubling vibration in the stator core. For this reason, the stator core assembly of the generator and the generator base parts are used with better vibration isolation performance. The elastic support structure of the spring plate reduces the frequency-doubling vibration transmitted from the iron core to the base and the foundation to a very small amount. At the top of the machine base, both ends of the steam and excitation are respectively provided with a long peripheral rectangular flange joint surface for installing the outer cover of the cooler, and a rectangular sealing groove is opened on the joint surface, which is filled with sealant to prevent hydrogen leakage. Another long peripheral flange joint surface is provided at the bottom of the excitation end to connect the outlet box.
