metallographic structure
The alloy has a face-centered cubic lattice structure, and its chemical composition ensures metallographic stability and resistance to sensitization.
Process performance
1. Do not contact sulfur, phosphorus, lead and other low melting point metals during heat treatment, otherwise the alloy will become brittle. Attention should be paid to remove dirt such as marking paint, temperature indicating paint, colored crayons, river oil fuel, etc. The lower the sulfur content in the fuel, the better. The sulfur content in natural gas should be less than 0.1, and the sulfur content in heavy oil should be less than 0.5%. Electric furnace heating is a better choice, because the electric furnace can accurately control the temperature, the furnace gas thousand net. If the gas furnace gas is pure enough, you can also choose.
The hot working temperature range of the alloy is 1080°C-900°C, and the cooling method is water cooling or other rapid cooling methods. In order to ensure the best corrosion resistance, solution heat treatment should be carried out after hot working.
Scope of application
The alloy is an austenitic low carbon nickel aluminum chromium alloy. The main difference between Nicrofer 6616 hMo and other early developed alloys of similar chemical composition is the low carbon, silicon, and iron-tungsten content. This chemical composition makes it exhibit excellent stability at 650-1040°C, improves intergranular corrosion resistance, and can avoid edge line corrosion sensitivity and weld heat-affected zone magic erosion under appropriate manufacturing conditions. The alloy is used in flue gas desulfurization system pickling and acid regeneration plants, acetic acid and agricultural chemical production, titanium dioxide production (chlorine method), electrolytic plating, etc.
